My fav subject

I've always loved using computers and spending time with tecnology. Since highschool I started to learn how to use editing programs and it's one of the reasons why I love and study cinema. That's why my favourite subject of this semester is 'Editing'.

Editing, in cinema, is a procces where the main focus is took the rough material (Image and sound filmed in the shooting procces) and put it together, making a film out of it. I think that editing it's one of hardest procces, but at the same time, it's one of the prettiest.

I love the subject because is interactive and practical. Each class, we have to take our theory concepts about editing into practice. Also, the subject's teacher is Javier Estevez, a well known name in the chilean industry. He worked in great tv series like "Los archivos del Cardenal" and "El Reemplazante" (Now on Netflix), and also in films like "La vida de las peces" and "Niñas Arañas" which, by the way, it's playing on cinemas (So, go and watch it!). The classes are also fun because the teacher give us the rough material of the movies that he worked on, so is a nice approach to the industry work.

I enjoy a lot this subject, I want to be an editor so I find it very useful and passionate.

    I love editing too! I respect it a lot tho, it is so difficult because every place you cut, or every clip you put together can mean a lot of different things!!!!! But it is so fun! is like creating a new world

    The best subjects are the interactive and practical! The theory is necessary but not in excess. Editing sound great! ;)

    The editing is a subject that most hate jjajaj but is necessary to learn. But there are times, when editing a short film or video is a good experience, because the content is entertaining, so...its depends.

    I don't know how edit nothing! Maybe you can make me a suggestion of programs and ways to be a master like you!
    Javier Estevez is your teacher? That's amazibng! I love him work in 'El reemplazante'. Someday, maybe, I will be able to see "Niñas arañas" in the cinema. Now I'm have a lot of works and others things :C

My favourite piece of technology has to be the computer. Doesn't matter what kind of computer, laptop or desktop pcs, all of them works for me. This time I will talk about my desktop pc.  I got that pc in early 2003. Yes, it's old, but that's the great thing about desktop computers. This photo was taken by Anne María Labra, a photographer from Coelemu. Me and my band were playing for the first time in Rock in Rio Itata back in 2013. Rock in Rio Itata or RinRI it's a rock/metal festival from Coelemu. It's was a great event, over 5000 people was there. We had the opportunity to play in the same stage that big names in the business, such as Alejandro Silva and Sinergia.  I was playing the bass, a cover of the song "Fear of the dark" of Iron Maiden. It was a great moment for me, I love to play Iron Maiden's songs because they are like my heros. And also, all the crowd went crazy when we started the song because is such a good piece of the metal history. The entire crowd was singing along and gave us a lot of energy (and bear too). That's why I'm so happy in the picture, I could easily say that this picture represents one of my favorites moment in my life.

The Fate of the Furious

The last 'hollywood type of movie' that I saw on cinema was The Fate of the Furious. This movie is the last movie and one of the eight from the Fast&Furious universe. For the people that doesn't know about this universe, you are not missing too much haha. For this review I will divide my blog in two parts. The good and bad thins about this film, starting for the bad ones.  Bad things: The bad things about this movie comes from one simple reason: it's the eighth movie from this universe. A universe full of cars, pretty looking actors, big muscles, big explosions and shitty music. This things can be good and also entertaining, but after seven movies of the same I get bored. And not only that, the plot has been so forced to the point where is no more about logical things.
