I think that this class in general has surprised me. At the beginning I thought it was going to be boring and all theory. Don't get me wrong, I like english but the subject in highschool was a little bit disappointing. That's why my expectations for this class were low, but with the weeks I found that I was wrong. It was a fun experience in general and part of that were the blogs.  I made blogs before of all kind of things, but this is the first time in english. So, it was nice to know that part of the marks for the class it would be blogs. I enjoyed everyone of the blogs that I wrote, the subjects always were fun and gave me a blast. Also, is fun to read other's people blogs, get to know how they think and communicate.  I would like to see 'free subjects' blogs in the future, where everyone has their unique theme to write. Because I would like to see more individuality and unique things that comes with different personalities.  Also, in a personal ma...

The Fate of the Furious

The last 'hollywood type of movie' that I saw on cinema was The Fate of the Furious. This movie is the last movie and one of the eight from the Fast&Furious universe. For the people that doesn't know about this universe, you are not missing too much haha. For this review I will divide my blog in two parts. The good and bad thins about this film, starting for the bad ones.  Bad things: The bad things about this movie comes from one simple reason: it's the eighth movie from this universe. A universe full of cars, pretty looking actors, big muscles, big explosions and shitty music. This things can be good and also entertaining, but after seven movies of the same I get bored. And not only that, the plot has been so forced to the point where is no more about logical things. My fav subject

( DaVinci Resolve, one of the newest editing programs) I've always loved using computers and spending time with tecnology. Since highschool I started to learn how to use editing programs and it's one of the reasons why I love and study cinema. That's why my favourite subject of this semester is 'Editing'. Walter Murch (The god of Editing) Editing, in cinema, is a procces where the main focus is took the rough material (Image and sound filmed in the shooting procces) and put it together, making a film out of it. Coen Bros

The Coen brothers, Joel and Ethan, are two filmmakers from Minneapolis, USA. They grew up in a jew family, surrounded by books, films and tv shows.  Many greats films has been created by this two guys, such as "Fargo", "Barton Fink", "The Big Lebowski" and "O Brother where are thou?", "No Country for Old Men" and so on. Each movie is great and has a lot of talent displayed. Also, they have a tv series called "Fargo" (like the movie) and is awesome.  I admired them because I think their style is unique. Their movies are full of black comedy, combined with touches of film noir. In the majority of their films, they use the same actors. Actors who I love seeing on screen. Also, they have a good taste for music, and their movies are an example of that. My favourite concert

I've been in to many concerts of international bands, all of them were great (Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, System of a Down, Anthrax, etc), but my favourite is one small concert of Chancho en Piedra, my favourite band since I was a little boy. I love them, thanks to them I started playing music, so they're a big important part of my life. They also has a good mix of funk and rock that I love.  This was a great concert because was small, so I was close to the stage. Also, I won a meet&greet, so before the show I had the chance to chat with my heros haha (also, share a bear). Ariel Levy was there too, one of the bad parts of the story haha.  I went with my cousin, who also enjoys the songs. It was a great experience, I was screaming from the start the end, definitely one the greatest moments of my life.

This photo was taken by Anne María Labra, a photographer from Coelemu. Me and my band were playing for the first time in Rock in Rio Itata back in 2013. Rock in Rio Itata or RinRI it's a rock/metal festival from Coelemu. It's was a great event, over 5000 people was there. We had the opportunity to play in the same stage that big names in the business, such as Alejandro Silva and Sinergia.  I was playing the bass, a cover of the song "Fear of the dark" of Iron Maiden. It was a great moment for me, I love to play Iron Maiden's songs because they are like my heros. And also, all the crowd went crazy when we started the song because is such a good piece of the metal history. The entire crowd was singing along and gave us a lot of energy (and bear too). That's why I'm so happy in the picture, I could easily say that this picture represents one of my favorites moment in my life.

No more "Tropicales" please.

It was back in 2014, I think. Me and my friends were celebrating two birthdays at the same time. My birthday and Marcelo's birthday. We're born in the same day, the same year, almost the same hour. So, the party was huge, so many people was drinking stuff and smoking too. I'm never was so much of a drinker, but in this occasion was necessary, even mandatory. We were born in September 20, so the party was full of cueca, chicha and one drink called "Tropical". The Tropical drink is a mix of white wine and pineapple juice. It's delicious but fatal. It's so delicious that I drinked it like water. After hours of drinking this 'water' and all the weed that we smoked, I was feeling "volacho", a mix word of "volado" y "borracho".  It was like a fight in my stomach, all the drinking and smoking wanted to come out.
